Assassin's Creed Releases the First Trailer Full of Breath-Taking Action Scenes

Finally we can have the very first look at the film "Assassin's Creed" starring Michael Fassbender!

2016 is obviously a big year for films adapted from games. We currently have The Angry Birds on the table, Warcarft next month, and at the end of the year, Assassin’s Creed hits the theaters. Adapted from the Ubisoft game of the same name, this film is expected to release on 21/12. Recently, the filmmakers have released the first trailer full of action scenes, satisfying fans of the game.

But we have already felt the heat from the movie. For two months, fans have been able to book the tickets and the highest price goes up to $1,200! These generous audiences will also get a limited-edition replica Spanish crossbow with it.

Compared to other films adapted from games, Assassin's Creed has a surprisingly great cast. Marion Cotillard (as Sophia Rikkin) and Jeremy Irons (as Alan Rikkin) are two Oscar winners. Meanwhile, the leading role Callum Lynch belongs to Michael Fassbender, who received an Oscar nomination last year for his performance in Steve Jobs. With the mass audience, he is more remembered as young Magneto in X-Men series.

The interesting fact is that the crew behind the film is also the one making up the success of Macbeth last year: director Justin Kurzel and two actors Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard. According to Michael Fassbender, they want to stay true to the original game, however, there will be some changes to make the film fresher.

"Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain," according to the 20th Century Fox film's synopsis. "Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day." Therefore, the story about the character played by Michael Fassbender is quite similar to the story of Desmond Miles, the leading character in the game.

In order to please its fans, the 20th Century Fox has just released the first trailer of Assassin’s Creed. Accordingly, Callum Lynch is an executed inmate, but he is still alive and gets up in a hospital with Sophia Rikkin (Marion Cotillard) sitting next. She is actually the daughter of Alan Rikkin, CEO of Abstergo in Madrid, Spain. We also have the first look at Animus, the device that helps recall Callum's past.

The rest of the trailer is mainly action scenes and a brief introduction of Assassins with the principle: "We work in the dark, to serve the light. We are Assassins." According to what has been revealed, we can guess that the story takes place in both the past and the present.

Fans of the game are now somewhat reassured when seeing Michael Fassbender  show his fighting skills in many scenes, from the battle on the roof, arrow shooting to parkour chasings. With this trailer, it's obvious that the film released in December is worth our anticipation!
